clone:it demonstrated the compare:rebar app and the associated web-based platform to HOCHTIEF as part of a proof of concept (PoC).

Europe’s largest battery plant is currently being built in Salzgitter, Germany. For this major project, the site managers were able to use our app for the first time to check the reinforcement quickly and efficiently instead of relying on conventional paper plans. The 3D model of the designerd reinforcement was projected directly into reality and precisely overlaid with the reinforcement that was actually installed. The immediate verifiability of all key parameters convinced the HochTief team of the added value offered by the compare:rebar app from clone:it.
