FOTO:PLAN, A FEATURE FOR CLONE:IT
Aerial photographs help to gain an overview. Commercially available drones equipped with high-resolution photo and video cameras allow aerial footage of the construction site or building through remote-controlled as well as autonomous flying. The images can be rectified with photogrammetric software and subsequently overlaid with the 3D design.
We want to fully automatically overlay aerial photographs of the construction site taken with autonomously operating drones on the 3D model of the building, using photogrammetric rectification. The permanent recording and superposition should serve to detect faults at an early stage and to avoid structural damage by correcting them in good time. Together with AirBavarian we are working on the realisation of our vision.
